The author Stephanie Connolly tells her very own tale of her life to date, with all the twists and turns that a modern girl in a modern world has to face. Of course these are not always happy events but have obviously shaped the author into the woman she is today. This book had me crying both with laughter and with sheer disbelief at some of the heart wrenching things that Stephanie has faced to date! Definitely what i would describe as a modern fairytale and Stephanie certainly seems to have found her prince charming (AKA Jay). "
